If you’re participating in the Women’s March on NYC tomorrow, I’m hoping to make your experience a much more convenient one. I know the turnout is going to be real. If you were apart of the event at all last year then you know that millions came out to represent their desire for equality across the board. It took place at Washington D.C. but we know that New York is going to really push those numbers.
So for convenience! The main entry is at W 71st Street and Central Park West (8th Ave). There will also be entry points for the march along Central Park West at 75th Street, 68th Street, and 64th Street. Below is the official area map:
If you are a NYC commuter then you’ll want to check out MTA‘s The Weekender for all planned service changes. As of right now there is planned work for some subway lines but none should affect traveling. The most important thing to remember is that there will be A LOT more people all over the city tomorrow.
The rally starts at 11:30am and the march immediately after, sometime between 12:30-1pm.
With so many different events taking place in regards to this march, your options to get involved are endless. The Women’s March Alliance even created this flier of events happening after the march all over the city:
I hope that everyone has fun, learns a lot, meets amazing people, and most of all, stays safe! If you have any information I should add, please let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org or feel free to comment below!
